Take the 30 day Yoga Challenge

Everyone comes to the yoga mat for different reasons. Some people want to gain flexibility, others to lose weight and still others to relieve stress. At the beginning yoga is hard work, there is little feeling of meditation or spiritual enlightenment as your breathe through Sun Salutations, or hold downward dog... with time, though, yoga, for many becomes a way of connecting with self. It becomes a gateway for relaxation and inner discovery.  For most people that journey takes time and consistent practice. Yoga has to become a way of life... a new routine.

Research suggests that it takes between 21 and 30 days to create a new habit. After that the new habit simply becomes part of our daily routine. That is why we have chosen a 30-day yoga challenge, so that yoga can become a part of your daily life, so that you get to the point where yoga simply is part of your being.

Milford Massage Wellness and Yoga's  30 day challenge is very simple. Do 30 minutes a day for 30 days... you can come to Milford Massage, Wellness and Yoga and take a class or you can do it on your living room floor. Where or how or the style of yoga doesn't matter. What matters is that you take 30 minutes out of your day to do it.  To participate in the challenge, respond to this post with your email address so we can send you the registration form and the daily log. 

By agreeing to the 30 day challenge, you are invited to a free Sunday yoga class from 2 to 3 for the duration of the challenge. You receive discounts on services at Milford Massage, Wellness and Yoga (40 percent off any service, after 15 days) and (60 percent off any service once you complete the challenge). Those who finish the challenge are also registered for a drawing for a free massage or reiki session. And everyone who completes the challenge will receive a certificate of achievement.

Living Life of Adventure, One Breath at a Time

Paige Deiner My life is a wild carpet ride full of unique experiences and one of a kind adventures. I sometimes find myself holding onto the tassels, rather than sitting squarely in the middle of my "magic carpet" - but so far I haven't fallen off and I'm loving the ride. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Yoga Alliance 200 yoga instructor. I have been a Reiki Master for 8 years, and have meditated since childhood. My daughter thinks I'm a hippie, I think I am a very organized dreamer. The truth may be somewhere in the middle. I would probably be a vegetarian but I fear mutiny... But I do try my best to practice what I preach. I yoga everyday and meditate nightly. I am lucky enough to have a fantastic Reiki partner so I receive some universal wisdom each Tuesday. And I am an avid, nerdy reader. I clean to books on tape, and usually read about two non-fiction and one fiction book a week.
